Discernment

From Wikipedia: Discernment is the ability to obtain sharp perceptions or to judge well. In the case of judgment, discernment can be psychological or moral in nature. Within judgment,
discernment involves going past the mere perception of something and making nuanced judgments about its properties or qualities. Considered as a virtue, a discerning individual is considered to possess wisdom, and be of good judgement; especially so with regard to
subject matter often overlooked by others.

I ask that you use your best discernment when regarding the important issues of the day, be they personal or public. Be aware that your senses *will* deceive you if you are not discerning.

Consider the movie “magic” of Forrest Gump. They make it look like Gump met JFK and LBJ. If you did not know it was a movie, your senses would be fooled into thinking that really happened. And technology has advanced much since then. What passes for “truth” today is dangerous, even venomous and destructive.

I strongly urge you — do not be deceived by the media.
