Do you ever get the feeling that life has passed you by?
Sometimes, when a whirlwind of innovation impresses me, I lament that I didn’t pursue this or that avenue of endeavor.
And such avenues aren’t always technological, like becoming a polyglot, a diplomat, a professional musician or artist, even an FBI agent, and so forth, let alone an entomologist or astronaut.
At 64, it is becoming rather late in the game to change horses, and so, like many of you, one has to find contentment in that which we did do, we did accomplish, we did learn and teach,
and even moreso in the contributions we made to the human condition.
At this stage of my life, I very often contemplate how I did live, what I did do, and whose lives did I enhance. I’m hoping the Judge approves.
