Yesterday I asked my physics students, as a change of pace, to write a rhyming 16-line poem/song/rap with the vocabulary words from the Heat unit to help review what we were studying.
Today I asked them to recite them to the class.
But what was brand new, I asked them to recite it in their native language.
Well, we got French, Spanish, Japanese, Polish, Turkish, Russian, Farsi, Thai, Hebrew, Amar (Ethiopian), Tagalog, Mandarin, and of course, English…what a cool lesson it turned out to be…
