For every left-leaning publication, there is a right-leaning publication. I read them both and am constantly dismayed by the divisive nature of it all. I have intelligent, vocal, and viscerally-involved friends on both sides and that disturbs me a bit too.
Can we not see we are being manipulated into abject divisiveness, on political lines, racial lines, religious lines, socio-economic lines, even what to eat and drink…it is all so primitive and childish.
When are we going to grow up?
Putting aside what my personal beliefs are, how could we ever expect to join a larger, cosmic community if we cannot act like responsible and respectful beings here on Earth?
