Sen. Ted Cruz spoke out on Thursday, exposing President Biden’s “radical immigration plan.”
Cruz explains that Biden’s proposition would allow any person deported in the last four years to return, with no exceptions made for known instances of criminality such as rape or murder. He stated that the federal governments refusal to “enforce the law against violent criminals” is “bizarre.”
Cruz acknowledged that while America is largely a country of immigrants, those immigrants arrived legally: “There’s a right way to come,” he stated.
A federal judge recently blocked Biden’s DHS from halting deportations. Helping to stop the administrations efforts to dismantle our immigration enforcement.
A preliminary injunction was granted by US District Judge Drew B. Tipton, preventing the Biden administration from halting deportation until the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Southern District of Texas District Court, or the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals resolves the case.
Dale Wilcox of the Immigration Reform Law Institute said he expects that the block on deportation “should hold up on appeal.” He further remarked on Biden’s attempt to sully the immigration enforcement system as “bizarre and sinister.”
