Today we honor those Americans who paid the ultimate price for the liberty and freedom the rest of us enjoy. Despite whether the powers-that-be choose to erode such freedoms in our current day, as is ostensibly so, it does not detract from the great sacrifice these soldiers made on our behalf.
So join me and drop a few dollars in an envelope to the VFW, DAV (thanks, Barb), DAR, Wounded Warriors, Help Heal Veterans, Paralyzed Vets, Blinded Vets, American Legion, and/or any other of the dozens of veterans’ charities.
If you cannot do that, maybe just a thankful prayer in their name would be a righteous thing to do.
If anyone has *earned* your support, it is they who have fallen.
