How many times have you heard someone say, “If I could do it all over again, I wouldn’t change a thing?”
Well, I don’t know about you, but there are hundreds of things I would have done differently…personal things, career choices, parental choices, and so much more. It’s not so much a sorrow as maybe a wistful what-if or an optimistic might-have-been…so many’s the time I have wished to have traveled a different time track, climbed a parallel ladder through life…
As an expansion of the last thought, are our lives merely the sum of all of our choices and decisions, as some would claim?
Or are there outside forces at work, completely out of our power, that impinge upon our lives?
Or do we co-create everything in our lives — that is, do we somehow attract things into our lives that we may or may not consciously desire?
And if so, how does that work?
